NYBC is proud to announce two “Golden Reels” and one “Silver Reel” Awards won at the 45th Media Communications Association-International (MCA-I) Media Festival. The videos were produced for the 50th anniversary of NYBC to showcase the center’s advancement in science and role in the community.
For more than 40 years, the MCA-I Media Festival has celebrated excellence in media communications. Internationally recognized, the Golden Reels are highly coveted.
“We pride ourselves in having a clear, concise voice when communicating with everyone who wants to give the gift of life,” said Robert Purvis, Vice President of NYBC. “It means a lot to us to be recognized not only for our evolution as a vital blood and medical services enterprise, but for our wide-ranging research efforts – which include everything from HIV vaccine trials to work on the MERS vaccine.”
Industry professionals judge the entrants on a range of styles and creativity, focusing on: Message Design, Creative Elements and Production Elements.
“Essentially, we are storytellers with a message. Creatively telling a story to the audience was our goal for NYBC,” said Marilyn Petrokubi, Producer of TimeSteps Productions. “I am so happy to be honored by my distinguished peers.”
