The Super Bowl Host Committee, ARC and New York Blood Center Unite to Support Our Community Blood Supply
Super Community Blood Drive at Gotham Hall September 3
A Super Community Blood Drive will be held on Tuesday, September 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gotham Hall. This blood drive will allow New Yorkers to show their civic pride as well as their love of football.
The 2014 New York/New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee, in partnership with New York Blood Center has launched the Super Community Blood Drive – aimed at motivating people to donate blood for patients in need throughout our area. The campaign, which encompasses the five boroughs of New York City as well as Westchester, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the State of New Jersey, runs through January 17, 2014.
All presenting donors at this blood drive will receive a red Super Community Blood Drive wristband and will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win (2) tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.
“Now that summer is over and we’re moving into football season, our partnership with the Super Bowl Host Committee is a great way to motivate and recognize the thousands of donors who maintain our community blood supply each and every day,” said NYBC Vice President Rob Purvis.
